THE COACHES

CALE ROBINSON

Cale began gymnastics at the age of six in a small-town Tennessee facility where he was the only boy enrolled in the program. He quickly showed not just potential as an athlete, but an incredible passion for the sport. From there, his gymnastics career sky-rocketed. He was coached by Phil Savage at Premier Athletics in Knoxville, TN where his club career culminated in making the Junior National Team and he traveled internationally representing the United States. He went on to compete for Stanford University and was a member of the school’s 100th National Championship-winning team in 2011. He was named captain of the Stanford Men’s Gymnastics Team in both his junior and senior years.

From a young age, He always knew he wanted to give back to the sport that had provided him so much. As soon as he turned 15, he began shadowing coaches at his club gym to learn gymnastics techniques, principles, and strategies for motivating kids. He carried this passion with me throughout college and began working at Airborne Gymnastics in Santa Clara, CA. In 2014, he accepted his first head coaching job at Wallers’ GymJam Academy in Santa Clarita, CA. After a few years of success, he moved back to the Bay Area and became the Head Coach at Airborne. During his three years with the club, he developed and nurtured numerous athletes from Level 4 up to Junior Elite, and helped over 10 gymnasts obtain scholarships and walk-on positions at Division I, II, and III gymnastics programs.

In 2019, he moved to Seattle where he accepted the Head Coach position at Gym East in Bellevue. But due to COVID-19, that season was cut short. With the creation of Pacific Reign Gymnastics, he is excited to oversee the entire gym’s programming from the bottom up as well as work hand in hand with his partner, Owen Sun, in fostering a gym culture fit for the next generation of American gymnasts.

STEPH GENTRY

Stephanie competed for WOGA Gymnastics in Texas and represented the US internationally as a junior US National Team Member. She went on to compete for Stanford University as a four-year athletic scholarship recipient, where she first began coaching at Stanford summer camps. Stephanie continued coaching in the Bay Area at Bay Aerials Gymnastics as a compulsory coach and Twisters Gymnastics with Allan Fusilero as a TOPs and optional coach. She moved to Seattle for graduate school at the University of Washington and spent two seasons as the volunteer assistant coach at UW. Most recently, she developed a pre-competitive program at Mt Si Gymnastics in North Bend. Stephanie also does beam and floor choreography and is a certified Positive Coaching Alliance Double-Goal Coach.

our coaching philosophy

Respect

We value the hard work, dedication, and time that gymnasts invest in their sport. Our coaching approach emphasizes respecting their bodies and acknowledging their feelings. We also recognize that gymnastics is a sport with a relatively shorter competitive lifespan, so we prioritize promoting balance and a sense of normalcy in our athletes' lives.

Hard Work

We value the grinding nature of high-level gymnastics and are especially motivated by individuals who are determined to outwork those around them. Our aim is to foster a culture that inspires everyone to push themselves beyond their limits to achieve their full potential. As the saying goes, "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work."

Consistency

We prioritize dedication and consistent effort and believe in the importance of showing up every day. Being patient and valuing incremental progress is key to success in gymnastics. While some seek shortcuts to success in gymnastics, we believe that consistency and is the simple yet essential ingredient for achieving one's goals.
